Box Cutter-Armed Midtown Robbers Steal Over $600 In Vitamins: NYPD

Three men stormed a Duane Reade on Seventh Avenue earlier this month and made off with $662 worth of vitamins, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — Three men stormed a Duane Reade and threatened a worker with a boxcutter as they fled with over $650 worth of vitamins, police said.

The trio of health nuts busted into the convenience store at around 10:15 p.m. on June 12 and started swiping vitamins from the shop's shelves, according to officials.

One of the men flashed a boxcutter and "menaced" a store employee as the group departed, said a police spokesperson.

Officials said there were no injuries and that the three men made off with around $662 worth of vitamins in total.
