Broadway A-Listers Perform to Raise Money for Hillary Clinton Campaign
Stars performing on the broadcast, live-streamed on the Clinton campaign site, included Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jon Hamm and Hugh Jackman.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A host of A-list performers came out on Broadway to support Hillary Clinton's campaign for president — and it was all streamed live on her site. Clinton's website hosted the rundown of live performances, titled "Broadway for Hillary," on Monday night.
The performers included a who's who of the top names on Broadway (and some from Hollywood). Julia Roberts, Bette Midler, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lena Dunham, Jon Hamm, Hugh Jackman, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sarah Jessica Parker and Bernadette Peters were some of the stars who appeared on the broadcast.
A replay of the show is available below and on Clinton's website.

Hillary herself was not actually at the event, as she prepares for Wednesday's final debate. However, both Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton were on hand.
Her opponent Donald Trump presumably missed the entertainment as well. He was on-stage in Green Bay at the time.

Parker and Andrea McArdle teamed up to perform "Tomorrow" from "Annie" and Emily Blunt and Peters brought the film and stage versions of "Into the Woods" on stage at the same time. With Miranda in attendance, you'd have to figure his smash-hit "Hamilton" will also get a nod during the show.
The Oscars haven't gotten him to host since 2012, but Billy Crystal was emcee for the event from Broadway's St. James Theatre (260 W. 44th St.) on Monday.
