Bryant Park Barefoot Ball Takes Place Wednesday, July 20
"Shoes off, party's on!" the invite says.

The cool thing about living in and around Manhattan is that you pretty much get to be a child forever. Case in point: Bryant Park's annual Barefoot Ball is happening Wednesday, July 20. It's where everyone runs around barefoot in Bryant Park and celebrates with music and food. DJ Questlove is performing live, there's local food, and an open wine and beer bar. You're invited to "check your shoes at the door and feel the grass between your toes, for a night of dancing under the stars, on the Bryant Park Lawn," according to the event description.
Turn the lawn into your dance floor with Barefoot Ball: Support the park while dancing under the stars on the #bryantpark lawn at this premiere benefit featuring our favorite DJ, @questlove . Open bar and flip flops are included! Food available from @dbbistrony, @milkbarstore and more. Check the link in our bio for tickets. Photo: @angelitojusay

Tickets cost $50 for standing room, $115 for the 3-hour open bar, and $175 for VIP tickets with access to more food and alcohol and a gift bag. The food on site includes meals from local restaurants DB Bistro, Milk Bar, and others. You have to be 21 to go, and you have to show ID at the entrance, so bring your ID! The show will go on rain or shine, but so far the forecast calls for sun on Wednesday. The doors open at 7:30 p.m., and all ticket sales are final.
