MIDTOWN, NY — Central Perk, the favorite fictional hangout of Rachel, Ross, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Phoebe, is coming to life in Manhattan later this fall.

Central Perk Coffeehouse, modeled after the one on the hit show 'Friends,' will open a permanent location on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 47th Street, orange couch and all, its owners said.

Despite taking inspiration from one of television's most beloved sets, the cafe will be a real, fully functioning cafe, featuring several different coffee blends and a series-inspired menu, the owners said. Hopefully, the cafe doesn't actually serve Rachel's beef trifle.

Like its first location, which opened in Boston last year, the cafe will feature a special room with a replica of the iconic orange couch, perfect for a photo op.

The cafe was created in partnership with food and restaurant visionaries, including Top Chef and James Beard Award Winner Tom Colicchio, as well as award-winning New York architects, Glen & Co.

"FRIENDS is one of those rare shows that continues to bring people together, generation after
generation," said Peter van Roden, EVP, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.

"At the heart of that story was always Central Perk, the iconic coffeehouse and the group’s home base, set in Manhattan."

Central Perk Coffeehouse will be located at 20 Times Sq., New York, NY 10036.
