MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Southern fast food giant Chick-fil-A will continue expanding into New York City in March when it opens a new restaurant across the street from Grand Central Terminal, the company announced this week.

The new restaurant, located on East 42nd Street and Madison Avenue, will open March 1 and is expected to be one of the company's busiest location in the country, Chick-fil-A announced. Chick-fil-A Grand Central will be the chain's third Manhattan location.

In order to accommodate the throngs of hungry, chicken-craving customers expected to swarm the location each day, the restaurant will implement "upstream ordering." Customers will place their orders as soon as they walk in the door and pick up their food by the time it's time to pay.

Chick-fil-A will hold a campout to celebrate the new store opening, according to a press release. One-hundred people will be chosen for a 12-hour indoor campout at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Chick-fil-A fanatics should show up no earlier than 5:30 p.m. to register for the campout and if more than 100 people show up a drawing will be held to determine who gets to camp out. Campers are rewarded with a year's worth of free Chik-fil-A, according to a press release.
