Crook Pulls Knife On Midtown Store Clerk: NYPD

Police said a man who made off with $150 of goods at a Midtown Walgreens pulled a knife on a worker during the afternoon robbery.

MIDTOWN, NY — A robber pulled a knife on a store clerk as he stole about $150 of goods last month, police said.

On Nov. 26, a man entered a Walgreens on West 37th Street near 10th Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. and attempted to exit the store with about $150 worth of goods, police said.

A 27-year-old Walgreens worker tried to confront the man as he left the store, but the robber pulled a knife on him, police said, and threatened the clerk.

The man, who police described as being about 40-year-old, then fled north on 10th Avenue on a CitiBike.

Police also released an image of a person they claim is connected to the robbery.
