Cybertruck Torched With Molotov Cocktail In Manhattan, Police Say
One suspect was taken into custody, police say.
MIDTOWN, NY — A man set a Tesla Cybertruck on fire with a Molotov cocktail on Monday in Midtown near the Upper East Side border, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the man set fire to a parked, unoccupied Cybertruck at 1:13 a.m. Monday in front of 241 East 58th St., near the corner of Second Avenue.
When officers arrived, they canvassed the area and took one suspect into custody, authorities said.

The suspect, a homeless 40-year-old named Dwain Burr, was charged with arson in the third degree, reckless endangerment in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, police said.
