Facebook Eyes Hudson Yards For New Offices, Reports Say
Tech giant Facebook is reportedly negotiating a deal for 1 million square feet of office space in Manhattan's new neighborhood.

HUDSON YARDS, NY — Facebook could be the next big company to open up a large office in Manhattan's Hudson Yards neighborhood, according to reports.
The tech giant is currently negotiating a deal for at least 1 million square feet of office space in 50 Hudson Yards, Crain's New York Business first reported. The super-tall tower is currently being developed by The Related Cos. and Oxford Properties Group, according to the report.
A Facebook spokesperson declined to comment about the deal when asked by Crain's, but sources told the publication that the deal is so close that developers have stopped marketing the office space.

Facebook has been linked to the Hudson Yards areas more than once in recent months. Developer Vornado Realty Trust sparked rumors that the company would be occupying its "Penn 15" building when it released renderings that heavily featured the Silicon Valley-based business' branding.
The tower does not have a tenant attached to it yet, and Facebook shot down the rumors shortly after the renderings were revealed. Vornado's tower will replace the Hotel Pennsylvania on Seventh Avenue across from Madison Square Garden.
