It can be hard to find a nice place to eat outdoors in Midtown. Here are five of Yelp's top-rated restaurants with outdoor seating.

If you're running home from work in busy, stuffy Midtown, sometimes all you want is to sit outdoors with a beer and a good pre-dinner meal before hauling yourself home on the train. We compiled a list of five restaurants in Midtown that aren't too expensive and provide outdoor seating so you can get your late-night sunset exposure in too. They're also all very positively reviewed on Yelp:

Zoralie provides cheap, plentiful Puerto Rican plates, and it's a fan favorite. "QUE RICO! Takes me back to my time in Puerto Rico," said one Yelp reviewer. "Can't go wrong with succulent arroz con habitchuelas, pollo guisado o al horno and possibly the best part, TOSTONES and AMARILLOS!"

33rd Street and Broadway
Broadway Bites is an outdoor market in Midtown West that offers local gourmet vendors, including Red Hook Lobster Pound, Roberta's, ASIADOG, Bantam Bagels and a dozen others.
3. Bea
403 W. 43rd Street, between Ninth and 10th avenues
Bea has good, upscale appetizers, bar food and a beautiful garden area covered with glass so you feel like you're outside.
4. Pio Pio 8
604 10th Avenue, between 43rd and 44th streets
This Peruvian dining spot is known for their chicken, and they can easily accommodate large groups.
5. Calle Dao
38 W. 39th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues
Calle Dao's outdoor seating, lined with flowers, is just as beautiful as their indoor seating. Go here for a classy happy hour or post-work celebration. The food is described as Cuban Chinese fusion.
