Four Injured In Fire Near Midtown Hotel: FDNY
A fire broke out near a hotel in Midtown on Friday morning. Four were injured, according to officials.

MIDTOWN, NY – A rubbish fire broke out in front of 310 West 40th Street in Midtown on Friday morning, an FDNY spokesperson confirmed.
Four people were injured and evaluated on scene, with none hospitalized. Approximately 78 fire and EMS personnel responded, authorities said, after a call was received at about 8:40 a.m.
The Aliz Hotel is located at 310 West 40th Street, just across the street from the Port Authority Bus Terminal near 8th Avenue.

The fire was close to the hotel, an FDNY spokesperson said, and the extent of the damage to the hotel isn't known at this time.
The blaze was under control by 9:20 a.m., according to officials. Its cause is under investigation.
