Helicopter To Fly Over Midtown For Hours Thursday
The helicopter will be filming areas of Midtown Manhattan and occasionally be flying at low altitudes.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A helicopter will fly over Midtown Manhattan, occasionally at low altitudes, for hours Thursday afternoon, police said.
The aircraft — a white and black Eurocopter AS350BA — will be noticeable above Midtown starting around 4 p.m., police said. It will remain in the sky for about three hours, police said. The purpose of the flyover is for filming, but police did not specify what the helicopter would be filming.
The Eurocopter AS350BA is described as a single-engine light utility helicopter, so it should not be easily confused with a military aircraft.
