Here Are 16 Of The Best Restaurants In Midtown East: Do You Agree?
Eater NY recently compiled a list of the best eateries in Midtown East, from steak houses to Sichuan.

MIDTOWN, NY — Midtown East is not traditionally known as a foodie neighborhood, but that doesn't mean there aren't great places to enjoy a meal out.
Recently the staff at Eater NY compiled a list of what they deemed as "The Best Restaurants in Midtown East," a list that spans cuisines, settings and budgets.
Calling the neighborhood as a place for commuting to work and not necessarily a "culinary destination," Eater cites a "strong roster of dining options" that "have managed to survive despite the lack of office crowds during the pandemic."

"There are historical gems, like La Grenouille’s celebrated haute French fare and the Grand Central Oyster Bar. Some of the city’s iconic steakhouses and burger joints exist here, too, as do excellent options for ramen and Sichuan dishes," Eater wrote in their introduction to the list.
The list include known culinary hotspots, like the two-Michelin-starred Aquavit, Le Rock, P.J. Clarke's and Grand Central Oyster Bar, but also other tasty spots like Kjun, Monterey NYC and Grand Sichuan Eastern.
