Instagram Favorite Candytopia Coming To Midtown Manhattan
The "immersive experiential adventure" features the right mix of food, bright colors and exclusivity that makes a social media hit.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A pop-up that's become a favorite among the social media influencer set is set to open a new space in Midtown Manhattan in August.
Candytopia — which originated in Santa Monica, California earlier this year — announced its New York City location will open Aug. 15 in Penn Plaza on West 32nd Street near Seventh Avenue. The "immersive candy-coated experiential adventure" is perfect for "anyone who’s ever dreamed of scoring a Golden Ticket or nibbling their way through Candyland," according to a company press release.

The pop-up features more than a dozen curated rooms complete with interactive art installations such as a marshmallow ball pit and celebrity portraits made out of candies, according to a press release. Candytopia's new space will feature favorites from the Santa Monica location — which is set to end its run on July 22 — as well as new elements inspired by New York City. Guests are also provided with candy throughout the experience.
Candytopia expects tickets to sell out quickly and is opening up pre-release ticket sales on July 17. Tickets will be made available to the public on July 19. Anyone with a sweet-tooth for candy and social media clout should sign up for ticket updates at Candytopia's website.
