Man, 78, Knifed In Neck In Manhattan, Police Say
Police said the suspect is on the loose.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A 78-year-old man was slashed in the neck in broad daylight on Sunday, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the man was randomly slashed by a stranger near the intersection of West 48th Street and 9th Avenue at 2:51 p.m. on Sunday.
After the attack, the man was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, police said

Police said the suspect fled on Ninth Avenue, heading downtown, and that no arrests have been made yet. The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, police said.
