Man, 72, Suffers Broken Nose From Daytime Attack In Manhattan, Police Say

MIDTOWN, NY — Police are looking for a man who attacked a 72-year-old man in Midtown, breaking his nose, New York City Police Department officials said Wednesday.

According to the NYPD, the victim was walking in front of 660 West 42nd St., near the West Side Highway, on Tuesday at 12 p.m. when a man started an argument with him.

Then, the perpetrator punched the victim in the face, causing him to fall to the ground, police said.

The victim sustained a broken nose, substantial pain and bleeding from the attack, and was rushed to Mount Sinai West in stable condition, police said.

Police are still investigating the incident and have released surveillance photos of the suspect. No arrests have been made yet, police said.
