E-Scooter Rider In Critical Condition After Manhattan Crash, Police Say
When medics arrived, they rushed the man to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — A 59-year-old man is in critical condition after losing control of his stand-on electric scooter in Midtown East Sunday, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the man was riding the electric scooter near East 53rd Street and Second Avenue when he attempted to enter a bike lane on Sunday around 2 a.m.
Then, his scooter struck a curb, causing him to fall into the roadway, police said.
