Man Mugged After Leaving Hell's Kitchen Bar: Police
The 38-year-old victim met his two attackers inside The Distinguished Wakamba Cocktail Lounge in Hell's Kitchen.
HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two men wanted in connection with a Hell's Kitchen mugging, police said.
A 38-year-old man was mugged during the early morning hours of Sunday, April 22, after leaving a Hell's Kitchen bar with two men he had met inside, police said. The three men left The Distinguished Wakamba Cocktail Lounge, located on Eighth Avenue and West 37th street, around 2 a.m. taking drinks with them to go, police said.
After walking to West 44th Street and 12th Avenue the 38-year-old man was attacked, police said. The muggers punched the man and slashed him with an unknown sharp object, police said. A cellphone and about $800 was stolen from the man, police said.

EMS took the victim to Roosevelt Hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries, police said.
The suspects are described as two men in their mid 20s, police said. One man stands 5-foot-10 and weighs about 150 pounds and the other stands 5-foot-11 and weighs about 175 pounds, police said. Police released photos of the suspects (seen above) which were captured prior to the robbery.
