Man Punched On Midtown Subway: Police
A man suffered minor injuries from an assault earlier this month, police said. In another Midtown assault, police made an arrest.

MIDTOWN, NY — Just as police announced that a man had been arrested for one subway assault in Midtown this month, the department revealed a newly-reported assault from 10 days prior.
And the suspect, who the NYPD said slugged a man multiple times in the face onboard a Midtown train, is still at large.
The newly-reported incident happened when two men got into an argument onboard an uptown 1 train on June 4 at around 9:40 p.m., officials said.

As the train approached the 50th Street station, one of the men punched the other, a 52-year-old man, in the head multiple times and ran away once the train arrived at the station, police said.
The victim was brought to Bellevue Hospital and treated for minor injuries, according to officials.

Police released an image of a man they say is connected to the assault and described him as around six-feet-tall, wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and white sneakers.
Police also announced yesterday that an arrest was made related to a previously reported Midtown assault.
Edgemere resident, Rodney Smalls, 33, was charged with assault last Thursday, police said Tuesday.
Officials claim that on June 14, Smalls punched a 43-year-old man in the face multiple times inside of Grand Central Station at around 6 a.m.
Police said the two men were engaged in some sort of disagreement prior to the beat down.
