Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Midtown East: Police
A 23-year-old had a pistol pointed at him Monday evening as a crook demanded his watch and bag, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — A young man was robbed at gunpoint Monday evening on the streets of East Midtown, police said.
At about 5:30 p.m., a 23-year-old man was walking near Second Avenue and East 49th Street when he was approached by a pair of men, officials said.
One of the men pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's watch and other items, according to police.

The pair fled the scene and no injuries were reported, officials said.
Police said the total value of the theft was around $4,000.
