Man Shot In Midtown On Sunday Morning: Police

MIDTOWN, NY – A 39-year-old man was shot in the right leg in Midtown early Sunday morning, police confirmed.

The victim, who is not cooperating with authorities, was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in stable condition.

Three individuals fled the scene, officials said, heading eastbound on West 50th Street in a black Honda.

Preliminary reports indicate these individuals are all men, but no descriptions were available at this time, police said.

Officials could not confirm what led to the incident. The shooting happened on the sidewalk, police said.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
