Man Slashed In Bryant Park Subway Passage, Suspect Charged: Police
A man was slashed in a subway passage underneath Bryant Park during the height of the morning commute on Tuesday, officials confirmed.

MIDTOWN, NY – A 28-year-old man was slashed in the arm in a subway passage between the 7 train, at Fifth Avenue, and the B/D/F/M trains, at Sixth Avenue, a police spokesperson told Patch.
What happened? The victim exited the 7 train at Bryant Park at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Headphones in, the victim sang along to music as he walked down the passageway toward Sixth Avenue, according to authorities, until he noticed another man, 31-year-old Alexander Rivas-Falcon, following him.
Rivas-Falcon confronted the victim, whom he believed was talking to him rather than singing. The victim tried to avoid the confrontation, officials said, and that's when Rivas-Falcon slashed him in the right bicep.
