Man Slashed In Late Night Midtown Argument: Police

A man was knifed by another person after a verbal argument turned bloody on Friday, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — A man was slashed in the arm when a verbal argument turned bloody, police said.

On Friday at about 10 p.m., a man was arguing with another person on West 49th Street near Seventh Avenue when suddenly the other person pulled out a knife and slashed the man on the left wrist and forearm, police said.

The slasher fled east on West 49th Street, officials said, while the man was treated for his injuries on the scene.

Police said there have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
