Man Stabbed In Flatiron While Sitting On Bench, Police Say
Police are still investigating the incident, and have not made any arrests yet.

FLATIRON, NY — A 31-year-old man was stabbed in the hand while sitting on a bench in Manhattan on Saturday, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, at 5:30 p.m., the victim was sitting near West 25th Street and Fifth Avenue when the perpetrator approached the victim and stabbed him in the right hand.
Then, the perpetrator ran away, heading uptown on Fifth Avenue, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident, and have not made any arrests yet, but they have released a surveillance photo of the suspect, authorities said.

Police said the suspect is a man who was last seen wearing a multicolored jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.
