MIDTOWN, NY – A 36-year-old man was stabbed near West 34th Street and 8th Avenue, a police spokesperson told Patch, just hours after a tourist was slashed in the face on the Upper West Side in what appears to be a separate incident.

Emergency responders transported the man to Bellevue Hospital, where he’s in stable condition, according to authorities.
