Men Fire Gunshots In Front Of 5th Avenue Apple Store, Police Say
For the second time this year, gunshots rang out in front of the flagship Apple Store steps from Trump Tower, according to police.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A group of men fired gunshots on a Fifth Avenue street early Wednesday, in front of the flagship Apple Store and two blocks north of Trump Tower, according to police.
Shots rang out around 4 a.m. in front of the cube-shaped Apple Store between East 58th and 59th streets, which is open 24/7, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Four men were seen fleeing the scene a short time later, including two who drove south in a black sedan and two others who went eastbound toward Madison Avenue, police said.

No injuries were reported, and police had no information about the intended target.
Three of the men wore shorts and white sneakers, and the fourth man wore a hooded sweatshirt, police said.

This is the second time this year that shots have been fired in front of the iconic Apple Store, according to police. In May, police said a man walked out of the store around 4 a.m. and then fired a gun down the block toward East 58th Street before fleeing in a black Mercedes-Benz.
