2 Men Broke Into Manhattan Luxury Store With Hammers, Police Say
After the break-in, the two suspects were seen running away, heading uptown on Madison Avenue.

MIDTOWN, NY — Police are searching for suspects after two men with hammers broke into the Rolex watch store in Midtown, New York City Police Department officials said Thursday.
According to the NYPD, on Wednesday at 11:45 a.m., two men armed with hammers broke open the glass display cases to remove watches at the Rolex store on Madison Avenue on the corner of East 53rd Street.
However, the men ran away before taking any watches, heading uptown on Madison Avenue, police said.

Police have released surveillance photos of one of the suspects.
One suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black sweatpants, a yellow construction vest, and a blue surgical mask, police said.

The other was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and a gray baseball cap, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made yet.
