MIDTOWN, NY — A new way to "exit" is coming to Manhattan's newest train hall this fall.

From the team behind The Dead Rabbit on Water Street comes a new, all-day Irish pub with a name suitable for those coming and going: The Irish Exit.

As the name implies, the focus of the transit-focused pub is quick service without having to say goodbye, though the pub welcomes any who wish to let it linger.

And there's good reason to do so. Unlike the transit hall, The Irish Exit will have seats — 216 of them, to be exact.

"As with all of our brands and concepts, The Irish Exit is rooted in an invitation to experience modern Ireland in genuine, fun, and irreverent ways, ” said Dead Rabbit managing partner Jack McGarry.

“Transit hubs lend themselves to simple and accessible venues, and there’s an opportunity and demand for a compelling new concept that does this in a thoughtful way through Irish hospitality," McGarry said.

On the menu will be Irish-made beer, spirits and cocktails — which the team promises means a killer Irish Coffee, a broad choice of whiskeys, and perfectly poured Guinness.

The team aims to expand The Irish Exit concept to other face-paced transit hubs in airports and train stations around the country in the coming year.
