NJ Transit Buses Suspended, Trains Delayed During Winter Storm
At 4:30 p.m. NJ Transit suspended service on all of its bus lines. Several trains going to and from Penn Station were delayed as well.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Commuters heading back to New Jersey on Wednesday evening should steer clear of the Port Authority Bus Terminal, but the scene at Penn Station isn't too much better.
NJ transit suspended its entire bus operation after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday due to the winter storm, the transit agency announced. The storm also disrupted many of NJ Transits rail lines. Trains on several lines were canceled and delayed due to conditions caused by the snow and rain.

NJ Transit announced its dramatic cutback in bus service shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday. All NJ Transit bus tickets and passes will be honored on NJ Transit rail and light-rail, which will operate on a severe weather schedule.

Bus service is being suspended in order to give crews time to clear the roads, which are currently dangerous to drive on, transit officials announced on social media.
