Pedestrian Struck By Car In Midtown, FDNY Says
The person was hit in the intersection of East 43rd Street and Fifth Avenue.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A person was struck by a car Wednesday evening in Midtown Manhattan, an FDNY spokesman said.
Emergency personnel responded to reports of a pedestrian struck in the intersection of East 43rd Street and Fifth Avenue around 5:37 p.m., an FDNY spokesman said. One person was transported from the scene to Bellevue Hospital, the spokesman said.
The FDNY spokesman could not confirm details about the person's injuries.
