Person Hit By Train During Wed AM Commute: Officials
A person was hit by a train at 50th Street just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, MTA officials said.

MIDTOWN, NY — A person was hit by a train in Midtown Wednesday morning at the start of the morning rush hour, officials said.
At around 7 a.m., a train at the 50 Street C/E subway station hit a person on the tracks, MTA and fire officials said.
First responders rushed the person to Bellevue Hospital, according to the FDNY, but officials could not confirm the condition of the victim as of Wednesday morning.

Subway service was disrupted across multiple lines as first responders rushed to the victim's aid, with E, F and M trains rerouted in the middle of the mid-week rush hour.
