Four of those charged were minors, according to police.

MIDTOWN, NY — Six people were arrested and charged after a sextet of robbers pulled a knife on a pair of straphangers on a Midtown train this past weekend, according to police.
Newark resident Kyle Carmichael, 29, and Bronx resident Kareem Reynolds, 21, were both charged with robbery on Tuesday, police said. Carmichael was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon, according to officials.
Police said the other four arrested were minors, two girls aged 14 and 15-years-old, and two boys aged 15 and 16-years-old, whose names were not released because of their age. All four minors were also charged with robbery, officials said.

On Sunday, six people approached a man, 39, and a woman, 40, on a southbound 1 train near West 34th Street and robbed the pair at knifepoint, police said.
Police said two female robbers in the group punched the woman multiple times in the face as they failed to take her cellphone from her. The sextet fled the train with the man's wallet and cellphone at the 28th Street station, where the woman was also treated for pain from the punches, officials said.
