Police Searching for Midtown Serial Bank Robber
The man has broken into closed banks five times in the past five months.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The police are asking for your help in finding a man who's wanted for five bank robberies within the past five months — three in Koreatown, one in Midtown North and one in Midtown South.
Police said the man breaks or removes glass panels of banks during off-business hours, pries open a drawer and takes cash.
The first incident happened on April 6 at around 6 a.m. at Investors Bank at 276 5th Avenue.

The man again entered that Investors Bank on July 24 at 11:50 a.m., forcibly opened a locked safe and removed cash from it.
On Aug. 9 at around 4:05 a.m., he entered the same bank and pried open the teller drawer, but left without cash. He tried again the same day about an hour later at 5:25 a.m. at Bank of America at 345 Park Avenue, tried to open a safe in the teller area but fled the bank without cash.

And then just this Tuesday, the man entered Santander Bank at 169 7th Avenue at 3:20 a.m., opened the teller drawers and cabinets and took cash.
The NYPD released surveillance photos of the man and are asking anyone with tips on who he might be to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
