Gross Fingernails To Be Clipped In NYC After 66 Year Growth
"Ripley's Believe It or Not!" is flying a man who hasn't cut his nails in 66 years into NYC. The nails will be preserved in Times Square.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A man who hasn't cut the fingernails on his left hand in more than 65 years is being flown into New York City from India to snip off the record-setting pincers in Times Square.
Shridhar Chillal will part with the fingernails on his left hand at the "Ripley’s Believe It or Not!" museum in Times Square, according to a press release. Chillal, of Pune, India, hasn't cut the nails since 1952.
At the age of 82, Chillal is finally parting with his 31-foot-long fingernails on the condition that the barbs be kept on display in a museum, according to a press release. Starting Wednesday, Chillal's nails will be put on display at the Times Square location of "Ripley’s Believe It or Not!" on West 42nd Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues.
