Subway Stabbing On Times Square N/Q/R Train Leaves Two Injured: Police

Two teenagers were attacked on a southbound N/Q/R train at Times Square just before the morning rush, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY – Two teenagers were stabbed on a southbound N/Q/R train just before 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, police confirmed.

A 15-year-old male was stabbed in the hand and a 16-year-old male was stabbed in the abdomen, police said. Both were transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The stabbing followed a verbal dispute between the teenagers and an unidentified male individual, who fled the scene of the incident to parts unknown, police said.

An NYPD spokesperson described the assailant as male, with a dark complexion and short black hair. He was last seen wearing all black.

The stabbing occurred on the subway, police confirmed.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
