Thief Steals $13,000 Worth of Merchandise from Times Square Verizon Store
He threw a brick through the front door and stole more than $13,000 worth of smartphones.

A man threw a brick through the glass door of the Verizon store in Times Square last week and stole $13,000 worth of smart phones and other products at the store, the NYPD said.
The theft occurred June 23 at 3 a.m. at the Verizon store at 873 Eighth Ave. between West 52nd and West 53rd streets, the NYPD said Friday.

A $660 iPhone 6s, a $410 iPhone SE, a $530 iPad Mini, a $630 iPad Air, a $550 Droid Turbo, a $650 Droid Turbo 2, a $500 Droid Moto X, a $670 Galaxy 7, a $790 Galaxy S7 Edge, a $700 Galaxy Note 5, a $350 Galaxy S4 Mini and a $500 Galaxy S4.
21 Mophie battery cases valued at $100 each, two iPad displays valued at $630 each, a $460 iPhone 5s, 10 Lifeproof cases valued at $90 each, 12 speakers valued at $100 each and three OEM battery packs valued at $80 each.

He made $13,100 worth of merchandise, police said.
DNAinfo confirmed the theft on Thursday with a manager working at the Verizon store.
