MIDTOWN, NY — Another classic Times Square institution has closed its doors for good.

After over 40 years of slinging pints, Rosie O'Grady's Saloon served its final pour this Saturday.

“Thank You so much for the memories!" the pub wrote on their Instagram Tuesday.

The iconic Irish pub announced the impeding closure in June when a deal to repay back rent to their landlord fell through, according to Crain's.

Rosie O'Grady's, after suffering pandemic closures, had a previous repayment agreement with landlord, SL Green, pub president Michael Carty told Crain's.

He said that the pub's rent was over $3 million per year.

"We never fell behind on anything until we were closed down during the pandemic," he told Crain's.

That repayment plan, Carty told the business publication, was later successfully challenged in arbitration court, forcing Rosie O'Grady's to either pay up or shut down for good.

A representative for SL Green, one of the city's major commercial landlords, told Crain's that they disagreed with Carty's account and the 6,500-square-foot restaurant owed "millions" in rent.

Before the pub's last pour, Carty recounted the pub's celebrity guests with the New York Post, including JFK Jr., Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Bill Murray and a table that once sat George H.W. Bush and Hillary Clinton.

One time, Carty told the Post, New York Knicks forward Charles Smith saved a man's life with the Heimlich maneuver.

But this might not be Rosie's final call.

"We are eagerly looking for a new location to open soon again!" the pub wrote on their Tuesday Instagram post. "Stay tuned!”
