MIDTOWN, NY — A 70-year-old woman and a 34-year-old woman were attacked by two perpetrators in Midtown on Dec. 15, and police are now searching for the assailant, New York City Police Department officials said on Tuesday.
According to the NYPD, at 1:35 a.m. near East 42nd Street and Madison Avenue, the two victims got into an argument with a man and a woman about a car collision.
Then, the argument turned physical when the two perpetrators — a man and a woman — struck the 70-year-old in the face, pulled the 34-year-old by her hair, and stole her cell phone, police said.
