MIDTOWN, NY — A 39-year-old woman was attacked and hit in the head with a glass bottle inside a Manhattan subway station on Wednesday, police said.

The incident happened inside the 59th Street-Lexington Avenue station around 3p.m.

An unknown individual approached the victim and struck her in the head with a glass bottle, according to PIX11.
