Woman Eats $172.33 Worth of Buffalo Wild Wings, Leaves Without Paying

Police said the woman ate and ran, and they don't yet have a suspect in custody.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A woman walked into the Buffalo Wild Wings location in Times Square late at night on Aug. 14, ate $172.33 worth of food and fled without paying, police said.

The suspect, whom the police described as a Hispanic, heavyset woman, walked into the wings restaurant at 253 W. 47th St. between Broadway and Eighth Avenue at about 11:45 p.m., police said.

She ate and drank a $172.33 tab, which honestly doesn't sound like so much money after looking at the prices on the Times Square location's menu. She then fled east on West 47th Street and north on Broadway and jumped into a yellow cab on West 49th Street heading westbound, police said.
