Woman Groped On Midtown 2 Train, Police Say

A man touched the woman's inner thigh while sitting next to her on the train, police said.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man accused of groping a woman on a Midtown subway train, police said.

A 28-year-old woman was riding a southbound 2 train on the morning of March 5 when an unknown man sat next to her, police said. After sitting down, the man began to touch the woman's leg, police said.

The man then moved his hand up the woman's thigh, police said.

The woman was able to take a picture of the an before she exited the train at the 42nd Street station, police said.

The suspect s described as a man in his 60s who stands about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 165 pounds, police said.
