Woman Hit By Bus Near Times Square On Sunday: Police
A young woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a tour bus, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY – A 20-year-old woman was struck by a tour bus while crossing 8th Avenue at W. 42nd Street on Sunday, police confirmed.
Just after midnight, the pedestrian, who was walking eastbound along the north side of 42nd Street, tried to cross 8th Avenue, police said.
She was then hit by an empty tour bus, which was making a left turn onto 8th Avenue, according to police.

Emergency responders applied a tourniquet to the woman’s right leg before she was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The bus driver remained at the scene, police said, and no arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.

It’s not far from where another pedestrian was critically injured in an apparent hit-and-run less than a week ago.
