Woman, 67, Attacked In Manhattan Subway Station, Police Say
The perpetrator punched the victim in the face, causing bruising and swelling to her right eye and head, police said.

MIDTOWN, NY — Police were searching Wednesday for a man who punched a 67-year-old woman in the face inside a Midtown train station, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the woman was standing on the downtown-bound D train platform at the 47-50 Streets Rockefeller Center station back on April 30 at 4:30 a.m. when the perpetrator started an argument with the victim. The victim was standing near the Sixth Avenue and West 47th Street entrance, police said.
Then, the perpetrator punched the victim in the face, causing bruising and swelling to her right eye and head, police said.

The perpetrator ran away in an unknown direction, and medics took the woman to Mount Sinai West, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made yet.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who they said was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white pants, white construction boots, a construction vest and a gray baseball cap.
