Worker Attacked During Midtown Jewelry Store Heist, Police Say
Three men robbed a Midtown Manhattan jewelry store in broad daylight.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Robbers punched a jewelry store worker in the face during a brazen midday stick up on a busy Midtown Manhattan block, police said.
Two men burst into West 57th Street's APR Jewelry on Nov. 27 shortly after 2 p.m. and assaulted an employee before stealing watches from display cases, police said. A third man posted up by the business entrance and posted as a lookout, said police.
Robbers fled the jewelry store in an unknown direction and were able to avoid arrest, police said. The store worker who was punched suffered minor injuries and didn't need medical attention.

Police released photos of the robbers (seen above) on Tuesday.
