2 S-WR Seniors Named National Merit Commended Students
Congrats to Jacqueline Holden and Wilson Schmalzle!

Noted for demonstrating exceptional academic promise, two Shoreham-Wading River High School seniors have been named Commended Students in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
Jacqueline Holden and Wilson Schmalzle are among approximately 34,000 high school students nationwide who were awarded the distinction by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
“This is an exceptional accomplishment for Jackie and Wilson, one that will help broaden their academic opportunities,” Shoreham-Wading River High School Principal Frank Pugliese said. “On behalf of our school community, we share in their pride.”
