Here are the top three stories in Miller Place-Rocky Point today:

1. Suffolk police are investigating a burglary at IHOP in Ronkonkoma. Someone broke a glass door and went inside the building and stole cash between 4:15 and 5:15 a.m. on Jan. 25. Nearby businesses were also burglarized in January and police are looking into a connection. (Patch)
2. On Wednesday around 300 people attended an "Unmask Our Kids" rally in Hauppauge outside the Dennison Building. (News 12)
3. A Smithtown 15 year old saved her mom from choking on Jan. 12. She had learned the Heimlich maneuver in class. (Greater Long Island)
