Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle, Hurt In Miller Place: Police
The 68-year-old man was taken to Stony Brook Hospital Medical Center for treatment, Suffolk police say.
MILLER PLACE, NY — A 68-year-old bicyclist was struck by a vehicle and hurt on Saturday in Miller Place, Suffolk police said.
The 68-year-old man was riding a bicycle westbound on the shoulder of North Country Road at the intersection Ravine Road when he collided with a vehicle, which pulled onto North Country from Ravine at around 11 a.m., according to police.
The man was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
