1. Late Tuesday, emergency personnel found a body inside a burning vehicle in a residential driveway in Baiting Hollow. They were responding to a fire at a Sebastian Drive house. (Patch)
2. A Long Island man was sentenced to almost two and a half years in federal prison for participating in a Turkish birth tourism scheme. Pregnant women entered the U.S. illegally so that they could give birth and ensure their child's citizenship. Ibrahim Aksakal, 49, of East Patchogue pleaded guilty in October. (Patch)
