Here are the top three stories in Miller Place-Rocky Point today:

1. St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church at 820 Pond View Road in Riverhead is accepting clothing and medical supplies at the Parish Rectory on Pond View Road along with cash and checks to help Ukrainians. The checks should be made out to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Center and should read "Support of Ukraine." (Subscription: Newsday)
2. A rally was held in Riverhead to show support for embattled Ukraine. The rally was organized by St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Church in Riverhead and was held outside Riverhead Town Hall. Speakers included Riverhead Town Supervisor Yvette Aguiar, Suffolk County Legislator Bridget Fleming, and members of the local Ukrainian community. (Patch)
3. Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash on the Long Island Expressway on Monday in Islandia. Carlo M. Guercia, 46, of Massapequa, was on foot in the HOV lane of the westbound expressway, near exit 58, when he was struck by a 2019 Honda Odyssey. (Daily Voice)
