1. The deer trapped in a Stony Brook University calculus classroom was freed. State Department of Environmental Conservation police officers and other wildlife staffers were able to capture and release it outside. (Patch)
2. A Coram man is accused of impersonating a cop and soliciting nude photos from a female motorist in Ronkonkoma. David Olivari, 38, also impersonated a cop a day later in Nesconset when he pulled over a second woman. (Subscription: Newsday)
