Two sad funerals were held Friday: the slain nurse who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend in Holtsville and one of the young Quogue car crash victims were laid to rest. A drug ring in Riverhead was busted. A man carjacked two SUVs and tried to grab one more before being arrested. And check out a local food and history festival today in Setauket.

1. News 12 Long Island covers the funeral for the 46-year-old nurse who was killed allegedly by her boyfriend in the woods in Holtsville. Sandra McIntosh was laid to rest in Queens Friday. (News 12)
2. Lisa Finn reports that a homeless man carjacked two SUVs, and tried to steal another in Riverhead. One of the cars had a ten-year-old inside, who was left outside and unharmed. Jan Carlos Vargas, 32, was arrested Thursday. (Patch)
3. News 12 has the details on what Suffolk County prosecutors say is the bust of a major Riverhead drug ring. The alleged ringleader is 26-year-old Robert Johnson from Melville. Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy Sini alleges that he shot and killed a 25-year-old man in New York City on June 10. (News 12)
4. News 12 has footage of hundreds of attendees at the wake for Quogue car crash victim Ryan Kiese in Manhasset. The July collision killed five people. (News 12)
